The Site Superintendent oversees the construction project on a daily basis. S/he will assist with the supervision of all onsite work, coordinate with all trade labor and subcontractors, and interface with the owner, architect, engineers, local officials, technicians and others.
Responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to:
⢠Must have the ability to read and fully understand the construction documents.
⢠Must have the ability to see/find conflicts in the construction documents and on-site, with an emphasis on
finding/seeing potential conflicts before they cause delays.
⢠Layout and manage all work.
⢠Review contract documents to develop appropriate construction methods and construction sequencing.
⢠Oversee projects to maintain compliance with construction safety codes and other regulatory requirements.
⢠Prepare daily project reports for construction activities.
⢠Coordinate with project team and building trades for the preparation and processing of project documentation, including, but not limited to submittals, RFI's and Change Order requests.
⢠Schedule and meet with inspectors throughout the project.
⢠Ensure compliance with company policies.

Experience/Skills Required
⢠Seven years minimum experience in general construction, with emphasis on high end retail projects
preferred.
⢠Strong ability to manage and layout all subcontractors' work.
⢠Excellent hands-on construction skills, with strong carpentry skills a plus.
⢠Knowledge of construction related technologies, quality assurance, quality control and auditing.
⢠Knowledge of construction software is a plus.
⢠Ability to read and understand construction documents, schedules, and cost reports.
⢠History of completing projects within a budget and on schedule.
