Our company has an immediate opening for a super star maintenance gardener. NOT a mow & blow gig. MUST be very detailed, down to work hard & independently, and obviously love caring for plants. Our HQ and 95% of clients are in San Francisco. We offer great pay, medical/dental benefit options, and 401K. Qualified candidates must possess the following qualifications:
5+ years of experience with garden maintenance work
Skilled in fine aesthetic pruning and small tree shaping
Plant & pest identification skills
pest management - integrated and natural approaches
Able to perform vigorous physical activity, standing, kneeling & lifting
Able to work in year-around weather conditions
Knowledge of basic irrigation setups, and ability to program controllers, troubleshoot & repair
Basic power tools / equipment operation & maintenance
Educational background in horticulture or landscape construction a plus
Flexibility to take direction and take initiative to solve problems
Able to work independently as well as part of a team
Able to manage work quality and performance of others
Valid CA drivers license and a clean driving record
Extreme attention to detail
