SAP Analyst

Description Our client is seeking a highly skilled SAP Analyst with expertise in SAP Warehouse Management (WM) and SAP S/4 HANA Extended Warehouse Management (EWM). The ideal candidate for this SAP Analyst role will have advanced experience in EWM, including hands-on involvement in at least one full life cycle implementation. This SAP Analyst role requires proficiency in configuring and customizing SAP solutions, particularly in the areas of Cartonization, Quality Inspection Engine, Quantity Classifications, and Warehouse Order Optimization Rules.This position is hybrid, based out of Sunnyvale, CA. Responsibilities:

Conduct business blue-printing workshops and facilitate discussions to map business process flows.

Gather requirements from Warehouse Shipping departments and provide solutions based on industry best practices.

Configure, develop, and test changes in SAP for all WM and EWM requirements.

Serve as the single point of contact for configurations, development, and data migration in WM and EWM modules.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Material Management, Quality Management, Production Planning, and Sales Distribution.

Document and train teams on newly implemented processes.

Adapt quickly to changes in timelines and sequences.

Develop and execute test plans for SAP WM and EWM configurations.

Requirements

Required Skills:

10+ years of SAP experience.

Hands-on configuration experience in SAP WM and SAP EWM modules across multiple end-to-end project implementations.

Experience interfacing SAP with External Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

Strong knowledge of ALE/EDI/IDOC field mapping for data transmission.

Expertise in high-volume distribution centers handling diversified products.

Solid understanding of Cartonization, Quality Inspection Engine, and Quantity Classifications.

Proficiency in SAP EWM Master Data integrations, Inbound/Outbound processes, Internal Movements, and Cycle Counting.

Familiarity with shop floor orders, kitting orders, and 3PL integration.

Extensive knowledge in Warehouse Master Data setup, Stock Strategies, Inbound/Outbound processes, and Wave Management.

Experience with Post Processing Framework, Batch Management, and RF configuration.

Strong integration knowledge of LE, WM, MM, SD, PP, QM, FI, and CO modules.

Proficient in ABAP development and debugging.

Experience in daily queue management and resolution in both ECC and EWM systems.

Ability to document Functional Design Specifications for custom developments.

Preferred experience in TMS Integration.
