Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

5 years of experience in program management.

5 years of experience in fleet operations and systems reliability.

Preferred qualifications:

5 years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

Experience in software engineering, hardware engineering, computer hardware, and launching data center products.

Experience running large programs and managing cross-functional teams.

Experience engaging with director level and executives, with experience in executive-level communication.

Excellent technical acumen, with an understanding of large-scale distributed systems.

Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You will be responsible for leading and driving engineering teams to set, develop, and deliver exceptional reliability for systems and lead cross-functional teams towards delivering New Product Introductions (NPIs).Behind everything our users see online is the architecture built by the Technical Infrastructure team to keep it running. We keep our networks up and running, ensuring our users have the best and fastest experience possible.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Lead and drive platforms hardware reliability and cloud operations reviews. Provide updates on the reliability and quality metrics of systems in the fleet.

Lead a diverse cross-functional team, spanning functional areas to develop and deliver reliability roadmap (i.e., hardware and software).

Own reliability roadmap, Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), and newsletter. Drive process and engineering improvements, work with and drive execution of fault management for new and old systems. Transform difficult problems or ambiguous goals into well defined programs that result in measurable landings and impact.

Challenge and add value to engineering efforts.

Ensure all leadership/stakeholders are aware of progress/blockers on a continuous basis. Drive strategic and tactical decisions throughout all organizations and levels.
