Description We are in search of a Union Payroll Administrator to join our clients team in Walnut Creek, California. In this role, you'll be expected to utilize your skills in areas such as Certified Payroll, Union Payroll and Reporting, Auditing, Payroll Accounting Functions, and more to ensure the smooth operation of our payroll system. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity with potential for permanent, providing an engaging and challenging team environment for the right candidate. Responsibilities: Administer payroll systems and ensure accuracy in all transactions. Utilize in-house payroll and Excel through pivots efficiently. Understanding of certified and union payroll including reporting. Experience with DIR a plus. Perform auditing of payroll data to maintain accuracy and integrity. Handle union-related tasks, including Union Dues processing and Union Reports preparation. Process Certified Payroll and ensure compliance with Prevailing Wage laws. Handle Benefit Functions, ensuring that all benefits are accurately reflected in payroll. Use 'About Time' software for efficient time tracking and payroll processing. Address and resolve any queries or issues related to payroll Requirements Demonstrated experience with Union and Certified payroll Proficiency in using 'About Time' software Solid understanding of Accounting Functions Prior experience in Auditing Ability to handle Benefit Functions Experience in managing Union Dues and Union Reports Certification in Payroll administration Knowledge of Prevailing Wage regulations Familiarity with Certified Payroll processes Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
