Identify opportunities andwrite high performance code to make our solutions more efficient and scalable,and to support ever growing data sets
Collaborate with other engineering teams torealize and implement the next evolution of our forecasting and analyticsplatform
Qualifications
BA/BS degree and at least 1 year of software engineering experience (degree in Computer Science is preferred)
Knowledge of Java and comfortable in a Linux environment
Preferred experience
1+ years of experience with Front End technologies such as JavaScript
Proficiency in REST APIs and service architecture
Knowledge of persistence layers such as Vertica, MySQL, NoSQL
Knowledge of Big Data mechanisms, including batch and stream data processing frameworks (i.e., Hadoop, Kafka, Spark)
