Addison Auto has an entry level position for a Car Porter / Lot Tech / Valet. This is a great entry point for a person looking to get a foot in a successful auto repair and collision repair shop. We are willing to promote internally for individuals that excel.
Monday through Friday 730-530. This schedule could include overtime pay.
This position will be responsible for moving cars in and out of the shop to expedite repairs.
Must have a valid drivers license with few to no infractions to be eligible for this position of driving customer cars
Ability to drive stick shift/manual desired but not required.
Other duties to include:
- Checking in cars and obtaining mileage to expedite check in
- Test driving vehicles locally and on highways to confirm repairs completed
- Moving cars to secondary location to free up parking
- Monitor parking lot to prevent overflow
- Daily trash and recycling
- Providing rides for customers in company shuttle
- Driving to pick up parts from suppliers in company shuttle
- Bringing cars into the shop to help close each evening.
- special projects as needed by management
