We are looking for a Jr. Business/Financial Analyst - Grants Management to support one of our government clients.Essential Job Functions

Receive and review grant applications

Tracking performance of reviewers, grant status, and outcomes for all awardees activities

Monitor and review grant requests

Prepare documents and selection packages for pre and post award activities

Develop Standard Operating Procedures and Training Modules

Monitor, analyze, and review project performance including existing problems, financial inconsistences, and instances of non-compliance

Communicate with federal staff and grant applicants.

RequirementsEducation Requirement:

Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field and 2-5 years of experience

Master’s Degree in a business-related field and 1-3 years of experience

Experience Requirements:

2-5 years of experience in federal grants management support

Experience in Pre-Award and Post-Award Grants Management

Program Management Support experience for grant programs

Experience supporting grant closeout activities

Experience organizing, tracking, and preparing grant documentation

Desired Experience:

Previous Department of Commerce Experience

Experience at the Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA)

Qualifying specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience conducting research and analysis and making recommendations on organizational financial matters. Experience developing authoritative policy, guidance and training on financial management. There is no substitute of education for specialized experience for the GS-13 position.
