Qualified candidates will have solid experience managing a variety of complex HCM projects simultaneously and are experienced in effectively communicating and negotiating resources, and timelines with our internal and external customers. Qualified candidates will exercise leadership and organizational management skills to ensure all assigned project deliverables have the highest quality within agreed-upon time and cost estimates.Duties: Identify, develop, and communicate project work plans, scope, timeline, and project resourcing requirements Manage and drive issues to closure Perform risk management to minimize and mitigate project risks Set and manage customer expectations of project deliverables then communicate, as needed, to meet changing situations Use appropriate change control to manage change in project scope and schedule Prepare, coordinate, and lead meetings between customers and appropriate internal resources Enforce project standards to ensure deliverable quality Ensure that both customers and team members are meeting their project commitments in order to ensure a successful customer launch Must be comfortable in uncomfortable situations and conversations.QualificationsBasic Qualifications Project Manager with at least 2 years of experience managing projects with virtual team members in the Human Capital Management space Experience in a SaaS environment a plus leading complex/strategic clientsPreferred Qualifications Demonstrated ability to manage multiple and complex projects concurrently Demonstrates strong leadership presence and consulting skills, partnering with customer's executives Strong, effective decision-making and multi-tasking skills within stringent deadlines Knowledgeable of the human resources/payroll/benefits discipline Ability to deal with ambiguity and adapt to meet changing scope and resource situations. Demonstrates good judgment to appropriately negotiate project schedule and cost items Exercises solid escalation management skillsPay Transparency for Colorado, New York, Washington and CaliforniaThe pay range for this position in Colorado, New York, Washington and California is $60,500 to $86,950, however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. Specialized Experience: Applicants must have at least one year of specialized experience at the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the private sector managing a team to achieve desired results; designing, developing, advising, implementing, evaluating process improvement activities using methodology and tools, and conducting internal management consulting engagements and projects. Examples include: facilitating workshops for business process design, using Lean Six Sigma (LSS), project management, and other process improvement strategies; leading process improvement projects; providing process improvement consulting services; recommending automation tools or methods for processes; developing business plans; developing organizational business models; developing business strategies; and developing actionable deliverables including standard operating procedures, automation tools, or project management frameworks. Certification by the Project Management Institute as a Project Management Professional is preferred, but not required. Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification is preferred, but not required. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
