Job Summary:
Remington Construction is seeking a skilled Commercial Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and be able to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Shift and schedule 8-hour shift, weekdays
Work Location: Alexandria, VA (mostly) In person (no remote work)

Duties:
- Coordinate and supervise construction activities
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines
- Interpret construction plans and blueprints
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and contract requirements
- Utilize construction management software for project tracking
- Oversee subcontractors and ensure quality workmanship
- Conduct regular site inspections to maintain safety standards
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors
- Implement and enforce OSHA safety regulations on the job site
Requirements:
- Proven experience in construction management
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting schematics
- Knowledge of project scheduling
Experience: Commercial Construction: 3 years (Required)
License/Certification: Driver's License (Required), OSHA 30 (Preferred)
Ability to Commute/Relocate: Alexandria, VA (Required)
