Description We are in search of a Financial Analyst to join our team located in Atlanta, Georgia. In this role, you will be expected to analyze financial data, prepare reports, forecast trends, and assist in decision-making processes. This position is part of the finance team and will contribute significantly to meeting our financial goals. This role is a contract to permanent placement role. Responsibilities: Analyze and interpret financial data to assist in the decision-making process Prepare regular financial statements and reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports Identify variances between actual and budgeted financial performance and provide insights to senior management Assist in the preparation of budget forecasts and long-term financial plans Build and maintain financial models to forecast revenue, expenses, and profitability Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for ongoing financial performance analysis Extract and consolidate financial data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and completeness Monitor costs and identify potential areas for cost reduction or process improvements Ensure all financial practices comply with internal policies, industry regulations, and accounting standards Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reports to support key business decisions. Requirements Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a financial analyst role or similar position Proficient in Accounting Software Systems and Financial Services Good understanding and experience with CRM and Crystal Reports Strong skills in Data Mining Techniques Solid knowledge of Accounting Functions and Accrual Accounting Experience in Auditing, Budget Processes, and Capital Management Ability to interpret and analyze financial data and present insights clearly Excellent communication and presentation skills Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields preferred Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently or as part of a team Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
