Role and Responsibilities
• Define, implement and maintain performance tools, processes and methodologies
• Enforce and expedite quality process by proposing and creating load test strategies
• Handle all aspects of performance testing including test case creation, test execution and
test analysis using tools like JMeter, Neoload etc.
• Develop and maintain scripts and tools to load simulated test data to test environments
• Identify & Analyze DB performance and network performance bottlenecks
• Configures test environments as necessary to support test efforts
• Provide subject matter expertise in analysis, monitoring, tuning and diagnostics of system
performance
• Work with Agile teams to measure, analyze, and optimize performance and scalability for
new features.
• Collect, aggregate and publish quality metrics
Required Skills and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or similar technical field required
• 5+ years of experience in performance/load testing or test automation. Should have
knowledge of scripting or development experience along with Knowledge of application
infrastructure, networking principles, and basics of monitoring server CPU and memory
• Experience with developing tools, test automation frameworks/systems or API Testing
• Deep understanding of cloud based RESTful Web Services
• Capable of working independently, highly motivated and organized
• Experience leading small teams of 2-3
• Experience with Continuous Integration, Agile and SCRUM methodologies
• Excellent written & verbal communication, and analytical skills
