Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Administrative Assistant in the Non-Profit sector, located in INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana. This role will involve providing administrative support within an on-site, business casual setting. The focus of the role is to maintain fluid communication and provide essential administrative services, with strong emphasis on confidentiality and independent problem-solving abilities. Responsibilities: Handle phone calls and correspondence efficiently Maintain and update mailing lists, reservations, and travel arrangements Manage calendar and coordinate meetings, ensuring minimal appointment/meeting conflicts Provide coverage at the front desk as scheduled and necessary Assist in preparing for meetings and follow-ups Ensure room availability and assignment for unexpected meeting conflicts Compile and prepare correspondence and reports on behalf of the administration Edit, proo, and review documents prior to distribution and/or signature Create and prepare presentations, independently crafting well-polished presentations Ensure confidentiality and exercise excellent judgment with sensitive materials Anticipate work requirements and prepare provisions to meet deadlines Display resourcefulness and problem-solving abilities, working independently or as a team. Requirements Experience in non-profit industry is highly desired Proven ability in Budget Processes Proficiency in Calendar Management Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal Familiarity with Conference Calls and ability to coordinate them Strong Editing skills, particularly in the context of administrative work Experience in Answering Inquiries in a timely and professional manner Ability to Create Presentations using various software High level of organization and prioritization skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite High attention to detail Strong problem-solving skills.
