He/She compiles and prepares reports, graphs, charts, and written financial summaries. This position performs general finance and accounting processes including researching, analyzing, creating, and processing monthly journal entries. He/She supports a defined operational group and communicates with various management levels. This position acts as the key Finance and Accounting liaison with the Operations team in areas of financial training, general financial statement support, client pricing efforts, General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), internal controls (e.g., revenue recovery, Accounts Receivables [AR], audits, billing adjustments, etc.), forecasting, and annual budgeting.Responsibilities:

Assists with financial reporting.

Adheres to internal financial and accounting controls.

Assists in business planning and forecasting.

Assists in financial and profitability analysis.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent

Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or related discipline - Preferred

Experience with Javascript, Microsoft Office, and Object Oriented Analysis & Design

Ability to work as part of a small group

Ability to multitask well and exhibit exceptional time management skills

  • Summary About the Position: Responsible for the management of the Civil Works Programs and Project Controls section consisting of schedulers and program analysts. Responsible for schedule oversight and budget preparation, defense, and execution monitoring of the District\'s Civil Works mission. The work includes performing and directing the activities of professionals to perform execution oversight of the delivery of projects within multiple business areas. Responsibilities Provide centralized project management support services to assess adequate controls on focus areas such as planning, scheduling, project accounting, and change management. Evaluate District projects to ensure they are conducted within the capacity of the organization.
