Description:Senior Machine Integration Engineering Lead on a cross-functional team to design and develop innovative electro-mechanical machines that meet requirements for performance, quality, product cost, and project timelines. This position works as part of the cross-functional development team to create designs that meet requirements for performance, product cost, and the project schedule.Perform as the Technical Lead for critical Sub-Systems design/development. Applies principles of engineering and science to achieve product designs at the subsystem level that deliver lasting competitive advantage. Creates new concepts to achieve functions of assigned mechanical and electro-mechanical subsystems. Establishes subsystem performance specifications and plans for the evolution of these specifications over time. Prepares preliminary layouts, models, sketches, and/or schematic diagrams to aid in the understanding and solution of engineering problems.Skills:Mechanical engineering, product development engineering, integrated product development, designAdditional Skills & Qualifications:BS in Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering 6-10 years of mechanical design engineering experience, project Strong project planning/management experience. Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus.Experience in electric vehicle &/or autonomous vehicle development preferred Strong technical background , with machine & system integration experiences on complex electro-mechanical systems, ideally on electric vehicle architectures, systems, & subsystemsDemonstrated experience in vehicle-level systems requirements development, management, & architecture definitionExperience with problem-solving processes, tools, and techniques (8D, Six Sigma / DMAIC, root cause analysis tools- DFMEA, 5-why, fishbone etc.).Diversity, Equity & Inclusion At Actalent, diversity and inclusion are a bridge towards the equity and success of our people.
