Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Minneapolis, Minnesota. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will play a crucial role in our financial operations, including data entry, account reconciliation, and managing accounts payable. Responsibilities: Accurately processing and coding invoices. Conducting account reconciliation tasks to ensure accurate financial records. Efficiently performing data entry tasks related to accounts payable. Regularly conducting check runs to ensure timely payments. Utilizing Microsoft Excel and Oracle for various financial operations. Managing customer credit applications and maintaining accurate records. Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate actions when needed.Requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Experience with Oracle Strong data entry skills Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) Ability to handle account reconciliation tasks Experience in a manufacturing environment Attention to detail and accuracy Good organizational and time-management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field is preferred Proven experience as an accounts payable clerk is a plus Knowledge of general accounting principles Proficiency in English and in MS Office.
