BLACK WALNUT BAKERY is seeking an experienced baker for croissant and bread work.
Second shift, full-time position 32-40 hours a week.
Potential candidates must have professional culinary experience.

Activities and Responsibilities:
-Making croissants and breads as well as various pantry staples prepared with precision and care in the methods and standards of quality based on Black Walnut's vision and values.
-Preparations include scaling, mixing, scooping and baking accurately and efficiently to ensure consistency and quality.
-Clean work area and equipment before, during and after each activity throughout the work shift.
Employment Requirements/Expectations:
-Previous employment in a bakery or restaurant with stable job history.
-Culinary degree in baking and pastry preferred but not required.
-Proficient in basic pastry skills and techniques and basic math.
-Reliable, responsible and punctual.
-Able to communicate and understand English.
-Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced high volume kitchen.
-Must be well groomed and exhibit proper hygiene.
-Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (minimum of 8 hours a day).
-Able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be available weekends and some holidays.
