Vault Technician

REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

Valid Drivers License with limited infractions

Self-motivated and self-monitored with little supervision needed

Ability to maintain a clean and respectful personal appearance

Flexible with working hours including Saturdays and Sunday

Ability to pass a drug screen and background/MVR check

Detail oriented

Ability to lift minimum of 80 pounds

Ability to lift, stand, bend, stoop, twist, turn, kneel and squat

Team player

Customer service oriented

Excellent organizational and communication skills

Ability to work outdoors and be exposed to all types of weather conditions

Knowledge of backhoe preferred, but will consider someone who is willing and capable of learning to operate

DUTIES INCLUDE:

Close and lower vault after service (may include assist gravedigger in closing grave by shoveling dirt)

Prep concrete burial vaults as ordered

Load, transport and unload burial vaults in company vehicle

Install vault into grave

Assemble and disassemble grave site tents

Prepare for graveside service (place folding chairs, chair covers and artificial grass)

Keep daily reports including pre-trip and post-trip logs

Maintain maintenance schedule on vehicle and all equipment

Maintain clean and organized delivery truck, warehouse and shop

Responsible for all work functions to be performed timely, correctly and in safe manner

Provide safe, clean, respectful and dignified burial presentation for family and guests at grave site

Communicate all service related exceptions and issues with plant manager immediately

Full-time, working 8-hour shifts, some overnight shifts and weekends as needed.Pay is $16.00 - $20.00 per hour, depending on experience. Benefits include: 401(k), 401(k) matching, dental insurance, health insurance, life insurance, paid time off and vision insurance.
