The employer is hiring for a Customer Care Specialist to be responsible for providing excellent customer service and maintaining a professional image as part of the company team. This is a full time, temporary position that will last approximately 4-5 months. The wage is $19-$20/hr.
Will report to the Plant Manager for our Miles City, MT location, focusing on these key responsibilities:
- Assist in inventory management of products with month-end count, ordering, shipping and receiving to other plants and non-local customers
- Organize deliveries.
- Smoothly answer and operate phone system, communicating with customers in a professional manner.
- Greet and assist walk-in customers or suppliers in a professional manner.
- Perform data entry of delivery tickets, work orders and other account information as needed.
- Perform various clerical functions, including copying, printing, filing, sending/receiving/distributing documents.
- Accept and process payments.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Strong computer experience in various programs

Work Unit Overview: The Custer County Fire Department
Job Summary: The Fuels Mitigation Specialist, under the direction of the Fire Warden, perform a variety of tasks supporting the Fuels Mitigation Program. These activities include inspecting, defensible space and fire hazard inspections. Collecting data using GIS Field Maps and adding the data into a data base, towing and hitching trailers, operating small power tools, a variety of prescribed fire support tasks, assisting with initial attack on wildfires, administrative assignments and special projects as required.
Essential Functions (Major Duties or Responsibilities): These duties are the essential functions and are not all-inclusive of all duties that the incumbent performs;
Accurately assess the potential for structure ignitions in wild land/urban interface fire
Build and maintain positive working relationships with stakeholders to ensure that assigned fire prevention coordination efforts are successful.
Understand how fuel, terrain, and weather influence wildland fire behavior and how structures ignite in the wildland/urban interface and be able to clear communicate this to residence.
Make mitigation recommendations based on wildland fire behavior.
Map properties using a GPS/collect data of the properties.
Know and understand techniques pertinent to tree thinning, brush removal, pruning, grazing, mowing, prescribed fire.
Collect information in a specific format, generate written or audio-visual materials, recognize and use powerful images, and identify and organize outreach to affected audiences and the community at large.
Prepare presentations, attend meetings, and motivate partners to achieve goals.
Non-Essential Functions:
May perform minor repairs, mechanical adjustments, and change tires when necessary.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Perform light cleaning of the administrative offices, maintenance of grounds and equipment.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
The job requires knowledge of federal, state, and local traffic laws and regulations; passenger vehicle operation and light maintenance, the main traffic arteries in the county, map reading, and methods of performing basic pre- trip vehicles to ensure assigned vehicle is in safe operating order.
Qualified as a Firefighter Type 2 through the National Wildfire Coordinating Group (NWCG) Current Basic Firefighter Training including the following classes: ICS-100, Introduction to ICS L-180, Human Factors in the Wildland Fire Service 5-130, Firefighter Training 5-190, Introduction to Wildland Fire Behavior 15-700, NIMS: An Introduction RT-130, Wildland Fire Safety Training Annual Refresher Experience with the Incident Command System {ICS)

Education and Experience:
This job prefers a high school diploma or Hiset and three (3) years\' expedience as a licensed driver, must be able to demonstrate your ability to drive a larger vehicle in the safe manner and operation of passenger vehicles; or any equivalent combination of experience and training, which indicates possession of the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed.
