The technology we are responsible for delivering fuels J&J as we strive to change the trajectory of health for humanity.The CBT Strategy and Operations(S&O) is an enabling function responsible for shaping the organizational strategy, managing our portfolio of products, building business partnerships, driving communications, and establishing a culture of learning. This leadership role will be part of the S&O team and be responsible for shaping and executing the CBT Strategy while delivering services that engage and upskill employees to be strategic problem solvers, innovators, and collaborate as trusted allies. This role sits at the intersection of business and technology requiring a diverse skill set that is suited for technically savvy individuals who have strength in strategic thinking, providing insights, clear communication, collaboration, and learning principles.Key Responsibilities:The role requires elevation of our value as a strategic partner in driving business outcomes, through technical, functional and leadership skills development. The job requires an ability to apply a business lens to generate insights informing the development and execution of business strategies & plans in the areas of Communications, Strategy, Learning and Business Partnership. Experience in designing and maintaining strong business partnerships, ability to “speak” both technical and business languages to bridge gaps, communications, and training, skills are all important. This fast-paced role in a constantly evolving organization requires high standards and functional skills, critical thinking skills, a strong bias for action, deep sense of ownership and the ability to distill often highly complex and disparate information into easy-to-understand and coordinated elements. Partnership and coordination with JJT, the product groups, and technical and communications, strategy and learning leaders are imperative to success. Ability to successfully operate across organizations, by leading and influencing others not in your direct reporting structure, is also crucial.Shape and Implement CBT Strategy: Shape CBTs strategic plan, including Goals, Objectives & Key results that is aligned with JJT and business strategies and ensures coordination and pull-through for our Product Groups, chapters and regions. Work with stakeholders to define, measure and track organizational OKRs and performance metrics to generate insights that drive value for the business.Drive engagement of new digital tools to help execute the strategy for the organization. Curate and facilitate meaningful conversations with the Leadership and extended leadership teams, bring external insights and ideas to drive innovation, drive efficiency and improve ways of working. The candidate must affect crucial change within and around the organization by crafting consensus at all levels and across functions.Strategic Business Partnership: Partner with the heads of technology and product group leads to deploy tools and processes that enable digital strategy and business metrics, as well as techniques to deeply understanding their business. Sitting at the intersection of business and technology the candidate must understand business needs and language and how digital product can achieve business goals and drive improved experience, efficiency and effectiveness. Bring to bear communications and organizational change strategies to advance business priorities and ensure consistent and effective outcomes and impact.CBT Communications Strategy & LT Communications Effectiveness: Develop a cohesive communication strategy, as well as high-quality internal and external communications plan for the organization. Proactively partner with enterprise to share knowledge, shape communication plans, bring external insights, create action plans and take lead to drive new initiatives within CBT and cross-enterprise, ensuring seamless integration with JJT. Proactively shape, connect and oversee planning, management, and measurement of all CBT leadership team engagements, including Town Halls, individual leadership presentations, newsletters, thought leadership and other engagements. Collaborate with internal/external partners to amplify stories both internally and externally to amplify the CBT and J&J brand.Learning and Development Strategy: Responsible for creating and implementing CBT’s learning and development strategy and approach including technical and non-technical skills/competencies across CBT based on gap analysis and desired outcomes. Create, gain consensus, run and keep evergreen a measurement strategy and plan to understand the effectiveness and impact of each L&D effort, structuring all initiatives to iterate for success as appropriate to maximize effectiveness and ensuring innovation and incorporation of learning principles and industry best practices. Partner closely with enterprise L&D team to establish standards, share best practices, and provide visibility to Learning and development initiatives. Bring external insights and industry best practices to experiment with new ways of learning including gamification, virtual reality etc.QualificationsEducation:

A bachelor’s degree is required.

MBA, MS, MA or other master’s degree is preferred.

Experience and Skills:Required:

At least 8-10 years of experience in shaping and implementing business strategies to drive outcomes.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate individuals at all levels of the organization, are required.

Experience in shaping the digital narrative for executive leaders, e.g. CIOs through internal and external channels, is preferred.

A proven track record of leading and delivering strategic communications across an organization is required.

Demonstrated experience in enabling business transformation and process improvement initiatives by acting as a liaison and bridging the gap between Technology and Business functions, is required.

Demonstrated experience in building a culture of learning and development, with an understanding of tools and processes to upskill talent within the organization.

Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights, is required.

Advanced proficiency in various tools and technologies associated with communication, reporting, and business transformation.

Experience in leading a diverse and high-performing teams is required.

Start-up mentality with a bias towards action, innovation, and creating value through efficiency, effectiveness, and employee experience.

Technology and/or health care industry experience highly desirable.

Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year.
