Restaurant Group in South Orange, NJ is looking for a Multi-Unit General Manager to help manage two locations.
This is a hands-on leadership role working closely with the leadership team to oversee both FOH and BOH operations. You’ll mentor floor managers and shift leads, ensuring smooth daily operations and consistently exceptional guest experiences. We’re looking for someone with a big smile and a warm, friendly attitude—an individual who can inspire the team, foster a positive work environment, and build genuine connections with our customers.
What You’ll Do:
Oversee all daily operations (FOH and BOH)
Accomplish financial objectives by monitoring sales, and properly forecasting labor
Recruit, train, and develop team members
Manage scheduling, payroll, and POS systems
Ensure DOH compliance and a clean, safe workplace
Coach managers and staff to deliver consistent service excellence
Rolls out new menu items to teams and communicates these changes throughout the restaurant.
Partner with leadership on strategy, performance, and culture
Addresses all maintenance issues
What We’re Looking For:
2–5 years’ experience as a Multi-Unit General Manager
Proven leadership, time management, and problem-solving skills
Strong communication, presentation, and people skills
Ability to lead under pressure with professionalism and diplomacy
ServSafe Manager Certification required
