Description Expanding New York City firm is currently seeking a Bookkeeper / Accountant. Ideal candidate for the Bookkeeper / Accountant role must have 3+ years of related general accounting experience including accounts payable and accounts receivable. Bachelors Degree a must in Accounting, Finance or Business. Responsibilities: Ensure accurate and timely billing activities for various stakeholders Perform thorough revenue analysis based on actual activity Support the management team with precise Revenue reconciliation and reporting Record and apply cash receipts to customer ledgers effectively Monitor customer accounts and interact with customers to resolve any discrepancies Maintain up-to-date customer and billing information, files, and records Provide monthly Accounts Receivable information and reporting Assist with month-end financial close by providing revenue and billing reports reconciled to the general ledger Support annual financial audit by preparing required audit schedules and reconciliations Process accounts payable invoices timely and accurately, verify expense coding, and record expense in the proper accounting period Schedule and process cash disbursements in accordance with payment and contractual terms Carry out monthly bank reconciliation and accounts payable reconciliation, account analysis, and month-end journal entries Participate in accounting projects as required.Requirements 3+ years of experience Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR) Experience with Bank Reconciliations and Bookkeeping Strong skills in Microsoft Excel Experience with Month End Close processes Familiarity with Concur expense management software Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferredRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
