Assist with office projects such as file management, record-keeping, updating databases, billing and other tasks.
Use excellent customer service skills to contact and/or respond to clients by phone or e-mail.
Requires Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism or other writing-oriented discipline. Immigration experience strongly preferred, but not absolutely required. No travel or language fluency requirement other than English.
We’re primarily a business immigration firm with some family-based immigration work (we don’t handle asylum, removal work, etc.)
We offer a competitive salary (based on qualifications), paid time off, firm-paid health insurance, and a 401(k). 40 hrs/week, M-F.
We are a generally full-time in-office practice, though we have the ability to work remotely. We can often be flexible on occasional remote work – but the job is best handled primarily in-office because of the ongoing need to handle physical documents for package assembly, filing, etc. As USCIS [finally] transitions to online filing, we’re hopeful that we can be even more flexible in the future.
