Description We are accepting applications for the role of office assistant in the detail-oriented services industry. Responsibilities: Providing front desk coverage from Monday to Friday, during standard business hours Handling certified mailings and ensuring they are sent out in a timely manner Creating electronic copies of important documents as part of record maintenance Efficiently managing a multi-line phone system to answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate individuals or departments Performing filing duties to maintain well-organized and up-to-date records Adopting a sedentary stance to complete tasks that require minimal physical exertion.Requirements Candidate must have proficiency in creating and managing electronic copies of documents, demonstrating an understanding of digital organization and storage. Must possess experience in the filing of physical and digital documents, maintaining an efficient and easy-to-navigate system. Ability to handle a multi-line phone system, including answering, transferring calls, and taking messages with professionalism. Prior experience in a detail-oriented services industry is desirable, with a strong emphasis on providing exceptional customer service. Strong interpersonal skills are essential, with the capability to interact with clients and colleagues in a courteous and detail-oriented manner. Must demonstrate excellent organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required, along with the ability to learn new software quickly. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, with a strong command of the English language. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, with the ability to maintain calm and composure in a fast-paced environment. Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with further education or qualifications in office administration being a plus.
