Facilities Coordinator

Role and Responsibilities The Facilit ies Coordinator will support all office s/facilities across the agency f ootprint , by providing day-to-day facility support . Essential Functions

Responsible for the day-to-day facility support and requests including after-hours on-call. Facilitate office moves and reconfigurations as needed.

Ensure office/facility projects are being done within required timeframes . Escalate problems to manager as needed.

Assist manager with office space research as assigned.

Provide Access System Support by providing new codes/keys for staff and setting up new systems, etc.

Assess the cost, service level, compatibility, etc. of facility vendors and arrangements to determine/recommend vendors & arrangements which includes but is not limited to :

Cleaning companies

Facility maintenance/ handymen

Printer Support

Mail Support: USPS, UPS, and Federal Express

Services including: water, coffee, document destruction, trash/refuse, S tericycle , carpets, etc.

Manage i nventory c ontrol and o rder f ulfillment of office supplies, business cards, forms, outreach materials, toner, and paper across the agency footprint.

Responsible for s hipping and r eceiving .

Act as a backup to other department staff when needed .

O ther duties as assigned.

Education Requirements

High School diploma required .

Qualifications and Requirements

Requires highly organized and self-motivated individual who can work independently and is comfortable holding others accountable to meet deadlines.

Must be able to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and easily adapt to changing situations and problem - solve .

Must demonstrate a strong work ethic.

Must be willing to work in a fast - paced environment and meet deadlines.

Must be able to communicate effectively and quickly while keeping necessary staff informed.

Ability to travel when required .

Work Environment

The Facilities Coordinator is primarily in an office setting and may be exposed to outdoor conditions.

The working conditions are classified as medium work:

Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Medium work involves sitting and standing.
