The Office Coordinator serves as the initial departmental representative to incoming constituencies, and handles a variety of tasks providing operational support and general assistance. The Office Coordinator is present in the office to provide services to campus constituents.Reporting to the Community Folk Art Center's (CFAC) Administrative Specialist, the Office Coordinator's duties include, but are not limited to performing administrative duties and secretarial support for CFAC. This position will manage the front desk operations and assist with the supervision of student workers. The Office Coordinator will purchase office supplies and resources in support of programs and events. The position is responsible for answering the phone, managing the office calendar, responding to office emails, managing walk-in traffic, and scheduling tours in the Center.This position has significant student and staff interaction and a high level of multitasking is required in a fast-paced work environment. Hours are Mon-Fri 10am-7pm. Occasional evening and weekend hours are required as the Office Coordinator's work hours may shift to accommodate event schedules.This position is part of a bargaining unit and is represented by the union SEIU, Local 200United.
