Summary
This integral team member will learn the day-to-day operations of the organization’s accounting department. This is a great opportunity to utilize your expertise and work with a great team!
Essential Functions
Perform accounts payable transactions
Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations
Receive and process customer payments
Accounts Receivable Collection Calls
Produce & distribute monthly statements
Reconcile daily deposits (Credit Card, PayPal, Ebay & Amazon)
Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports
Process daily inventory discrepancy transactions
Process Salesforce opportunities including communication via email with customer
Process Salesforce cases including communication via email with sales rep and customer service
Process monthly sales tax information
Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
Update financial data in databases to ensure that information is accurate and immediately available
Assist with other accounting projects
Requirement & Qualifications
Associates Degree preferred
Minimum of 3+ years of related accounting experience, manufacturing environment a plus
Well-versed in acct principles & able to work comfortably with numbers & attention to detail
Knowledge of basic filing and recordkeeping principles
Solid technical aptitude with Excel, MS Word, QuickBooks, Outlook
Ethical practitioner
Strong work ethic, reliable and dependable
Customer-service oriented
SalesForce experience a plus
