AMPCO Tubes is currently looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our team.
Our ideal candidate would be a self-motivated, over achiever that excels at working in a fast paced, rapidly changing manufacturing environment. As a small company you must be comfortable engaging in dialogue with a diverse group of people - from customers to co-workers. Willingness to learn through job training and working well with co-workers is vital.
Work hours are Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
Duties and Responsibilities:
Basic office duties to include greeting visitors, answering telephones, image retention (scanning documents), processing orders, job closing and costing, inventory and time keeping transactions and the paperwork aspect of shipment processing. You will be required to work directly with customers during the order processing function of your position.
Assist administrative staff with other duties as required
Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
Problem Solving
Be able to handle multiple tasks
Computer skills, Including Excel, Word, Outlook
MRP software knowledge or willingness to learn
Independent thinking and prioritization of tasks and the ability to self-direct after training
Detail oriented
Understanding of basic accounting procedures
Salary: $19.00 per hour with automatic raise to $20.00 per hour after six months of employment.
