Prior to aircraft arrival, accomplish a review and audit of the scheduled work-scope.
During the aircraft visit, monitor the progress and recommends manpower changes, if required, to Production Management to meet scheduled re-delivery date.
Ensures Materials/Tooling is available to accomplish scheduled tasks.
Updates Production Team Supervision on the status of in-work tasks on a regular basis. Performs any additional duties that may be assigned by Management.
Daily attendance is an essential to this position.

Qualifications
EDUCATION & TRAINING:
High School Diploma or equivalent. is required.
EXPERIENCE, SKILL, AND KNOWLEDGE:
10+ years of experience in aviation repair from system to basic component level, including circuit board troubleshooting and repair
Mechanical aptitude required.
Highly skilled field service technician with expertise in electronics, avionics and mechanical systems.
Recognized as a technical expert in avionics; consistently leveraged to design and deliver instructional courses on aircraft field service repair.
Avionics repair experience from system to basic component level, including circuit board troubleshooting and repair.
Exemplary leadership skills; proven ability to manage a diverse team of technical professionals and drive for results using influence and sound decision-making.
Strong Communications skills with ability to provide instructions and training for small group of support technicians.
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills which supports the establishment of rapport and cohesion at all levels of the organization and ensures total customer satisfaction
PHYSICAL & MENTAL CONDITIONS:
Must be able to pass the Intermediate Level (I-Level) Maintenance with MP Test Bench Initial Training Course.
Must be able to pass written tests as instructed by the Maintenance and Quality Departments.
Normal physical exertion required for periods of working on foot or standing.
Requires lifting of items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Requires kneeling on occasion in performance of duties.
Requires ability to twist, bend, squat, climb and/or other body movements to successfully accomplish the requirements of the position.
Requires the use of either or both hands for grasping items.
Manual dexterity and the ability to push/pull, i.e.: open/close file cabinets and/or handle machinery is required.
Requires the ability to reach above shoulder height in accomplishing job tasks.
Requires the ability to walk on uneven surfaces.
Sufficient vision required to successfully accomplish the requirements of the position.
Requires sustained periods of concentration.
