The LSR shall be capable of facilitating themovement of parts to required locations as well as expediting the movement of parts in critical situations including Aircraft-On-Ground (AOG).What you'll be doing as a Logistics Support Representative
Perform technical research on all part requirements.
Expedite all part requirements and provide status and estimated delivery dates.
Attend scheduled / unscheduled meetings in support of open requisitions and forecasting.
Monitor trend usage of part requirements and coordinate appropriate allowance requirements.
Provide stock posture on material required in development / installation of technical directives and service bulletins.
Conduct receipt process for retrograde materials and provide contractor personnel with required documentation for
induction to the Repair of Repairables (ROR) cycle.
Receive material, prepare shipping paperwork and coordinate shipment of repairable retrograde to appropriate vendors.
Assist the Purchaser in processing warranty claims and warranty returns in accordance with the Agreement warranty
terms.THIS POSITION IS BASED IN IRAQ ON A 90/30 DAY ROTATIONAL SCHEDULE.QualificationsWhat you need to be successful
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet and database applications along with excellent oral and writing skills.
Knowledge of Bell SAP and Vistas part system.
Minimum of three years’ logistics experience in the areas of aviation material management.
PREFERENCES:
Two-year degree in business, or related field and logistical experience with military and/or commercial helicopters;
Minimum of three-year’s experience working with the BHTI Supply Chain information management and transactionsystem.
Will be able to obtain the proper access and possess the knowledge to work within MRP, Procurement and Change
Control in resolving problems and issues related to delivered aircraft/parts.What we offer you in return
