The primary scope of this program is to execute medical support services at the United States Embassy and adjacent facilities in the Middle East.POSITION SUMMARY: The Logistics/Warehouse Property Specialist is assigned daily work under direct supervision and is responsible for warehouse layout planning, establishment of document files, preparation of required documents and reports. May also explain instructions and documentation to plan work activities.RESPONSIBILITIES:

Receives, checks in, and issues materials in support of construction and maintenance activities. Responsible for warehouse layout planning, establishment of document files, preparation of required documents and reports.

Maintains inventories and completes records.

Ensures proper planning, receipt, storage, and issue of all project material and the control of project furnished small tools and third party rentals.

Helps coordinate movement of materials and equipment to work locations and sets up work site.

Completes and reviews records, maintains tools and equipment, and performs various clean up activities.

Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment.

Job may require moderate to heavy lifting.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Requires high school diploma and 2+ years of related experience.

Specific contract requirements will prevail.

Must meet all medical requirements and be willing and available to travel CONUS and OCONUS

Must be able to lift 50lbs

Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English fluently

Candidates must meet CENTCOM MOD (Fit for Duty) theater requirements

Must currently possess or be able to obtain prior to being hired as is required for this position a U.S. Government (USG) issued Secret security clearance and/or a favorable USG Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT). Must maintain eligibility at the required clearance or certification level for the duration of the task order.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. TAP & EMPLOYMENT SERVICES (80%) A. Transition Assistance Facilitate and provide the full scope of operational management and oversight of TAP services for transitioning military members and/or family members, retirees, reservists, and Department of Defense (DOD) civilian members. Coordinate with counterparts from the Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Labor (DOL), Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Small Business Administration (SBA) to plan and schedule various training events. Coordinate with counterparts on providing separating service members and their families access to an array of workshops, programs, services and support to meet their needs on various topics. Assist clients with creating and maintaining their Individual Transition Plan (IDP) and identifying personal and vocational needs to help them outline milestones to achieve their goals. Provide Pre-Separation Counseling to service members. B. Career Support (Family Employment) Work with separating service and family members, individually and in groups, on their career, occupational, volunteer, and educational goals to equip customers with career/job search skills, resume development, and interview techniques to assist in obtaining employment. Advise clients on how to navigate employment resources to include federal job vacancies, application processes, and on qualification standards. Develop and maintain local networks of veteran and military service organizations, military friendly employers, and other vetted organization contacts to refer service members to these organizations for enhanced program delivery, when available. Facilitate classes for customers on applying professional analytical skills and negotiation techniques to identify job opportunities and develop an automated inventory to list such job opportunities. C. Volunteer Coordination Oversee the recruitment, screening, placement, orientation, support, recognition, and evaluation of FFSC volunteers. Train and inform volunteers on policies/procedures relevant to their role. Maintain a current roster of all FFSC volunteers and update monthly. Track volunteer hours, achievements, and performance review due dates. Develop a volunteer recognition system to acknowledge volunteer milestones during the All-Hands meetings, installation volunteer recognition event, upon completion of short-term projects, etc. Provide staff training on volunteer-related topics such as: utilizing, motivating, and recognizing volunteers, procedures for recruiting, interviewing, and placing volunteers; making accommodations, when necessary; and providing diverse volunteer opportunities to assist individuals with disabilities to become involved. Collect and process volunteer data for reports and disseminate quarterly reports reflecting pertinent statistical information such as number of new volunteers and current volunteers, volunteer hours worked, accounting of expenditures, etc. to organizations and other partners. Coordinate all aspects of community outreach to installation, command, and community partners, encourage participation in FFSC volunteer opportunities, develop and implement annual community outreach plan. PROGRAM ADMINISTRATION & EVALUATION (20%) Maintain and update TAP and FERP records and statistics, and complete required reports timely and accurately, utilizing the Fleet and Family Support Management Information System (FFSMIS), Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC) and applicable databases. Maintain a library or resource center of current TAP and FERP information, curriculum, and resources and provide service members with authorized physical or digital materials. Maintain certification standards for the local TAP and FERP per CNIC FFSP certification standards.
