Maintenance Specialist IWe are looking for a qualified Maintenance Specialist I like you to join our Texas Health family.Position Highlights· Work location: 6100 Harris Parkway Fort Worth, TX 76132· Work hours: 2nd shift, 3PM to 11:30PM. Monday through Friday with on-call rotation.· This position will require traveling to our Clearfork facility.Department Highlights:· Gain a sense of accomplishment by contributing in a teamwork environment.· Receive excellent mentorship, comprehensive training, and dedicated leadership resources.Here’s What You Need· H.S. Diploma or Equivalent Required· 3 Years’ experience in a commercial or industrial environment Required .· 1 Year experience in a healthcare environment Preferred.· Has knowledge with chilled water systems, pneumatic tube station, computerized maintenance system, HVAC, and general plumbing.· Knowledge with fire alarms, life safety systems and inspections of fire alarm devices.· Knowledge of emergency generators and related equipment.Licenses and Certifications· DL - Driver’s License Upon Hire Required· Other Healthcare maintenance certification Upon Hire PreferredSkills· Proficient in the use of computerized systems for all aspects of job performance.· Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical, electrical, and utility systems.· Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.· Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams.· Ability to work effectively unsupervised and in teams.· Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills.What You Will Do· Provide routine and specialized building repair and maintenance support for hospital, hospital equipment, and hospital properties utilizing the computerized maintenance management system.· Performs the duties of skill trades such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, general maintenance, mechanical, HVAC, and exterior maintenance as required.· Provide technical support and general guidance to facility staff in the repair and operation of facility equipment, components, utilities, and the like.· Participate in hospital and departmental safety programs, education opportunities, and related training.Explore our Texas Health careers site (https://jobs.texashealth.org/) for info like Benefits (https://jobs.texashealth.org/benefits) , Job Listings by Category (https://jobs.texashealth.org/professions) , recent Awards (https://jobs.texashealth.org/awards) we’ve won and more.Do you still have questions or concerns?
