JOB SUMMARY The Office Manager oversees office operations, coordinates communication, maintains records and supports staff in their day-to-day activities. This position ensures the smooth functioning of the office environment, facilitates effective communication and implements administrative processes and procedures. This role sets goals for the team and oversees day-to-day objectives within a defined area. Ensures team members understand and follow policies, practices and procedures. Problems faced are generally not difficult or complex. Demonstrates integrity, accountability and transparency; upholds BKV standards, values and culture. RESPONSIBILITIES Provide support to executive leadership including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, arranging travel and handling correspondence. Manage daily office operations which includes maintaining office supplies, equipment and facilities. Coordinate logistics for visiting stakeholders. Organize and maintain records, files and documents. Coordinate with suppliers, vendors and service providers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services. Assist with budgeting and financial management tasks, such as managing the G&A (general and administrative) budget, tracking expenses, processing invoices and coordinating with the Finance and Operations departments. Coordinate meetings and events for both executives and field operations. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and guidelines in the office environment. Supervise a team consisting of support level employees. Provide day-to-day work direction for team, focused on maintaining steady workflow, productivity and resolving operational decisions. Provide input into employee management decisions. Set expectations, provide feedback and create a positive work environment for direct reports. Member of the Barnett Leadership team in Fort Worth. Perform other duties as required. REQUIRED SKILLS Understanding of natural gas industry standards, market trends, emerging issues and regulatory requirements. Advanced knowledge of administrative processes and best practices. Leadership and management skills including achieving results through influence, guiding performance and development, and fostering a motivating and inclusive workplace. Proficient in Microsoft Office and job-related applications. Uses insights from digital tools to improve performance. Ability to thrive in a dynamic fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Advanced interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills. Advanced attention to detail, organization and prioritization. Demonstrated cognitive and problem-solving skills. Growth mindset with a demonstrated ability to innovate, embrace change and have grit. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE High school diploma or GED required. Associate degree preferred. Typically requires less than 3 years of relevant supervisory experience. Prior experience supporting executive level leadership. PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORKING CONDITIONS This position is located at BKV’s Fort Worth, Texas office. Indoor working environment that requires the ability to perform repetitive motions and operate standard office equipment. May occasionally be exposed to distracting noise while sharing office space with others.

  • Summary As a supervisor/manager, the selectee for this position will be eligible to receive a Manager Performance Incentive (MPI) provided eligibility requirements noted in agency policy are met. The MPI is an annual lump-sum incentive payment that considers agency performance, the manager\'s individual performance, and available funding. This incumbent will serve as a Team Manager for Program Implementation Management Team in the Central Service Center, Planning and Requirements Group. Responsibilities Directs the work of subordinate employees and/or managers for multiple organizational units/project/programs and across multiple function and/or disciplines within a major subdivision. Duties typically include: strategic planning, communicating the organization’s vision and objectives, setting priorities, assigning tasks and responsibilities, monitoring and evaluating performance of organizational units, coaching and developing staff and organizational capabilities, approving leave, and taking, recommending, or approving corrective/disciplinary action, as appropriate. Applies an advanced knowledge of the technical aspects of the work directed, an advanced knowledge of budget, human resource management, and other administrative policies and procedures, and an advanced understanding of the objectives of the organization. Collects, assembles, and analyzes relevant data for planning development.
