Description Robert Half Finance and Accounting and Kevin Sweet have partnered with a leading national service company in Fort Worth that has a need for a newly created Senior Accountant position due to continued organic growth and acquisitions. As Senior Accountant you will work closely with the Controller and have key responsibilities in the areas of the monthly accounting close, financial and operational analysis and financial reporting. Current and relevant ERP system experience
Skill with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
Ability to work well in matrix organization and dealing with ambiguity
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
University Degree experience desired
Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines
Deep understanding of internal controls and SOX compliance
Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills
Prior experience in a public accounting environment is highly valued
Proven analytical skills - defining problems, collecting relevant data, drawing valid conclusions, and recommending improvement/corrective actions
2+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience
Self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills
Observant, accurate and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
