Join a team that is energized by change, is passionate about best practices, and enjoys establishing strong controls.As the Insurance Originations Executive Director for our Wholesale Lending Services you will lead a Global team, located across Fort Worth, Houston, Tempe, San Francisco, and Bangalore. The team is responsible for reviewing and approving Non-Flood and Flood Insurance for real estate and contents taken as collateral. Insurance provided must comply with the Commercial Real Estate Insurance Guidelines, Line of Business Insurance Requirements, and with the Federal Flood Disaster Protection Act. In this role, you will work closely with Market partners and the Flood & Insurance Center of Excellence team to ensure Insurance requirements remain synced with market changes, internal and external client issues are managed in a timely manner, and any requirements for internal and external audits are addressed with care.Job Responsibilities:

In depth understanding of the Flood Disaster Protection Act (FDPA), property and casualty insurance requirements for Commercial Real Estate and Multifamily collateral including but not limited to construction, term loans, tax credits, bond transactions and Agency lending.

Participate in location initiatives with team members and global managers, looking for ways to continually simplify, improve, and add value to existing business processes and working practice

Involvement and ownership of strategic initiatives

Overseeing the strategic direction of the organization, including the development and implementation of long-term strategies and daily operations

Ensure appropriate and timely progress reporting, highlighting risks and issues

Provide leadership, coaching and motivation for employees to deliver superior customer service, utilize critical thinking skills to manage complex transactions, identify and raise awareness of potential risk, provide transparency to market partners, and promote inclusion

Strengthen relationships with market leaders by providing clear communication and providing education

Build rapport and influence key business partners with the goal of expanding current scope of work

Ensure timely resolution to client issues to guarantee no disruption to the expected closing date due to insurance

Continuous monitoring of Commercial Insurance Guide requirements to ensure market viability and adherence

Participate in all internal and external audits (including OCC Commercial Real Estate Exam, Flood Vendor Oversight, and Fannie/ Freddie Mac annual compliance, communicating findings to management

Visualization of data to drive decision making, prioritization and continuous improvement

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

Complete understanding of Federal Flood Disaster Protection Act, FEMA regulations, NFIP and Commercial Insurance Requirements (Builders Risk, Business Personal Property, Co Insurance etc.)

10+ years Commercial Real Estate Insurance experience

Takes responsibility and ownership for issues and follows through to resolution with timely and relevant communications

Leadership, development and performance management of a team, as part of a broader global organization
