Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in Houston, Texas. This role is based 100% on-site and will be situated at the front desk. The selected candidate will be a part of a small, close-knit team in the financial services industry.Responsibilities: Handle account coding processes accurately Utilize accounting software systems for various tasks Provide support in the use of ADP - Financial Services Manage expense reporting through Concur Assist in the implementation and maintenance of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning Perform general accounting functions as needed Oversee the Accounts Payable (AP) process and ensure all transactions are carried out accurately Apply accrual accounting principles in financial tasks Participate in auditing processes when required Manage transactions through Automated Clearing House (ACH) Requirements Proficiency in Account Coding is essential. Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems is required. Experience with ADP - Financial Services is mandatory. Knowledge of Concur is needed. Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is essential. Ability to perform Accounting Functions is required. Experience in Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary. Knowledge of Accrual Accounting is mandatory. Auditing skills are needed. Experience with Automated Clearing House (ACH) is required.
