Programmer Analyst

Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Programmer Analyst in the legal industry, located in Houston, Texas. This role involves the development and testing of .NET applications, working with SQL databases, and the implementation of automated testing using Selenium. Responsibilities: Develop and test .NET applications Work with MySQL and Microsoft SQL to interface with Zora (API) Design and implement front end interfaces using Vue, JavaScript, and HTML5 Conduct automated testing using Selenium Troubleshoot and resolve programming issues Collaborate with team members to optimize code, improve functionality, and provide users with a seamless experience Start work immediately upon successful completion of interviews Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to understand requirements and provide optimal solutions. Requirements Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as a Programmer Analyst or similar role is required. Proficiency in .NET and Selenium is essential. Demonstrable understanding of programming languages such as Java, C, and Python. Knowledge of coding best practices and understanding of coding for robust, scalable applications. Experience in designing and implementing software solutions is a must. Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex technical problems. Proficient in database systems, with a good understanding of SQL. Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive technical documentation. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with project management methodologies and software development life cycle (SDLC) processes. Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
