Bechtel operates through four global business units that specialize in energy, infrastructure, mining, and metals and nuclear, security and environmental. Today, our colleague's team with customers, partners, and suppliers on diverse projects in nearly 40 countries. The Infrastructure Global Business Unit (GBU) is executing site civil and marine scopes of work associated with our scopes of work on the Energy GBU LNG projects. The candidate will serve as the Civil Wick Drain Superintendent on the upcoming Port Arthur LNG project. The work location is Port Arthur, TX. This position is contingent upon project award.Currently under construction, Port Arthur LNG is a natural gas liquefaction and export terminal in Southeast Texas with direct access to the Gulf of Mexico. The Project facilities will include two natural gas liquefaction trains capable of producing, under optimal conditions, up to approximately 13.5 mtpa.Position Summary:Reporting to the Project Accounting supervisor, the Project Accounts Payable Specialist will perform Accounts Payable activities for the Port Arthur LNG Project. The position is in Bechtel's Houston office.Responsibilites:

Review, approval routing, and processing of supplier invoices

Daily review of the AP hold report, ensuring that holds are cleared timely to ensure on-time invoice payment.

Coordination with the Service Center Accounts Payable organization for timely and accurate data entry

Coordination with Procurement, Contracts, Project Controls, Project Management, and other departments involved in the AP process.

Communication with suppliers as needed to resolve issues and ensure accurate and timely invoicing to the project and payment to the supplier.

Additional duties may be assigned on an as required basis.

The position requires the ability to maintain confidentiality with a strong ethical behavior in workplace practices, a customer-service orientation with a demonstrated professional demeanor and communication style, flexibility, and a commitment to meeting deadlines.

The position will ensure that financial controls and procedures are in place and that the project complies with Bechtel policies and contractual requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:Basic Qualifications

2 years’ experience in Accounts Payable roles

Must have the legal right to work in the US without sponsorship

Additional Qualifications

Understanding of accounting principles, concepts, and terminology

Intermediate skill with MS Office suite, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Oracle Financials

Above average communication, analytical, and organizational skills

Good initiative and ability to work independently while functioning effectively with a team environment

Good business judgment in execution of assigned work and in understanding when issues need to be escalated for resolution
