Description We are currently seeking a dedicated AP Supervisor to oversee and streamline our daily Accounts Payable processes for our non-profit client. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity requiring a strategic, detailed-oriented professional ready to take on the financial responsibilities for our organization to align with our strategic goals.Key Responsibilities Supervising the daily AP process, ensuring it meets or exceeds the organization's strategic targets Supporting daily cash planning from the AP perspective and facilitating month-end closing processes Continuously updating and improving AP procedures, including selecting systems and banking partners as necessary Monitoring the timely processing and transaction postings of employee expenses reports and vendor invoices Analyzing employee expense reports and vendor invoices for accuracy and proper expense categorizations Reviewing and verifying AP vouchers and payments before they are presented to the Controller and/or CFO for approval Conducting AP-related account reconciliations and ensuring the AP balance is supported by the Aged AP Report Overseeing the accurate and timely execution of annual 1096/1099 reporting and filings Enforcing the collection of EINs or SSNs from vendors through form W9 in adherence with 1099/1096 reporting Overseeing proper AP records maintenance, filing, and storage for audit purposes Building and maintaining positive relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendorsAP System Administration & Maintenance Responsibilities: Managing access to our Concur Expense system Ensuring the Concur Expense and Concur Invoice modules are updated and properly maintained Supervising vendor record maintenance, including verifying vendor information before activating a vendor file Overseeing accurate reflection of vendor activity in SAP Concur and our accounting system Reviewing and monitoring vendor approvals compliance with our organizational policiesSupervisory Responsibilities: Leading, mentoring, and training AP employees, including conducting regular check-ins, performance management and reviews Providing consultation, training, and technical assistance to AP and program employees Performing other duties as neededRequirements Accounts Payable (AP), Concur, Sage Intacct, Abila MIP Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
