Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Technical Revenue Accountant in Irving, Texas, within the Healthcare/NHS industry. This role is centered around tackling complex contracts and multiple element arrangements. The successful candidate will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities to ensure smooth operations within our accounting department.Responsibilities: Review and analyze complex contracts to ensure compliance and proper revenue recognition. Handle multiple element arrangements in contracts, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the process. Utilize your experience with ASC 606 in your daily operations and tasks. Manage a variety of different contracts and formats, ensuring all are processed accurately. Demonstrate the ability to manage numerous open items and complex workflows effectively. Exhibit excellent communication skills, explaining accounting concepts to individuals outside of the accounting department in a clear and understandable manner. Utilize your technical revenue accounting skills to handle complex accounting standards, such as complex leasing standards. Utilize Workday and Microsoft Excel in your daily operations for efficient and accurate record keeping. Gain exposure to a variety of contracts within the services industry, extending your experience and skills. Handle complex accounting standards and practices, demonstrating your technical accounting skills. Requirements Candidate must possess a strong background in Technical Accounting. Proficiency in Revenue Accounting is essential for this role. Familiarity with ASC 606 regulations is required. Knowledge and experience in Company Revenue Recognition is necessary. Ability to ensure Proper Revenue Recognition is crucial. Experience working with Complex Workflows is a significant advantage. Ability to understand and handle various types of Contracts. Experience with Service Contracts is a plus. Understanding of Multiple Element Arrangements is beneficial. Proficiency in using Workday software is highly desirable. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are necessary. Prior experience in the Healthcare or NHS industry is advantageous.
