Description We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in the Real Estate & Property industry, located in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for processing invoices, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring efficient data entry.Responsibilities: Processing accounts payable data and invoices in an effective manner. Ensuring accurate record-keeping of accounts payable information. Handling customer inquiries related to accounts payable. Utilizing Microsoft Excel and Word for various tasks. Operating Workday ERP system for data entry and account management. Monitoring customer accounts and taking the necessary action for any discrepancies. Ensuring data entry tasks are completed with high speed and accuracy. Working in a high-volume environment and prioritizing tasks accordingly. Coding invoices accurately to maintain organized records. Executing the tasks in a highly organized manner without the need for constant supervision. Requirements Possess a minimum of 1 year of experience in an Accounts Payable (AP) role or similar Demonstrated experience with Coding Invoices Proficiency in Data Entry and Invoice Processing Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word Experience with Workday ERP system Possess strong numerical and analytical skills Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to ongoing professional development in the field of accounting and finance A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field would be advantageous.
