We have a new Full-Time In-Office position available as an Eligibility Specialist in our award winning Elite Service Team. We are a nationally recognized vertically integrated insurance agency, specializing in employee benefits consulting and administration. We are one of the largest specialty employee benefit agencies in the Seattle area and we are conveniently located in Kirkland Washington.

Summary / Objective

The Eligibility Specialist is responsible for receiving customer requests through phone calls, e-mails and web sites. The position requires good communication and written skills, review and accurate processing of customer administration and service requests. Representatives are required to follow all company processes and procedures in order to provide outstanding customer service for all internal and external customers. Representatives are expected to develop excellent in-depth knowledge of company products, programs and processes. Effective communication with team members and internal and external customers is required.

Essential Functions

Provide timely and accurate information to customers pertaining to administration requests.

Maintain confidential client notes

Process customer information requests with proprietary company systems and processes

Follow documented work processes and procedures

Work closely with all departments to provide excellent customer service

Provide timely feedback to the company regarding service deficiencies

Partner with the internal Consultants to meet and exceed customer's service expectations

Follow and maintain HIPAA privacy standards and procedures

Learn to operate company proprietary software

Complete daily reporting of all service activities

Review internal and external information and reports for accuracy

Perform administrative and clerical duties including accurate data entry and filing

Answer in-bound reception and customer service calls

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm.

Required Education and Experience

Minimum 2 year of Office Experience

5 Years of stable work experience

Previous Customer service experience

Computer (PC) experience: Skilled in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)

Reliable transportation: valid driver's license / good driving record

Preferred Education and Experience

2 years Customer Service experience

Experience in the healthcare or employee benefits field

Customer service/Account service experience
