Pierce College is seeking a Veterans Services Program Specialist 3 to independently manage and support the Veterans Educational Benefits Program, ensuring compliance and exceptional service for our veteran students.
What You’ll Do:
Serve as a key resource for veterans at Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM) and across the Pierce College District.
Verify student eligibility, certify veterans’ educational benefits, and maintain compliance with federal and state regulations.
Provide exceptional customer service through in-person and virtual communication with students, faculty, staff, and government agencies.
Organize and oversee day-to-day operations of the Veterans Services Office.
Assist in hiring and training VA Work-Study students and collaborate on student services initiatives.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience in program operations, customer service, and maintaining detailed records.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong communication skills.
A passion for helping veterans navigate their educational journey.
