Survey Department Manager
McInnis Engineering has an immediate opening for a Survey Department Manager in Tacoma. Our goal is to become the go-to civil engineering and land survey firm in the South Puget Sound. We plan to do this by developing a professional, fun, community-minded culture and delivering excellent work for our clients. This position will play an integral part in helping us get there.
The successful candidate will be a professional that believes in that philosophy. In addition, the successful candidate will have knowledge and experience in the land survey business in Western Washington, the ability to grow a strong team of qualified and talented survey professionals, and a desire to work for a quality local firm engaged in the community.
Our survey department is established and in need of a business savvy leader looking to build a quality survey practice. The job responsibilities will include working with the company principal and the existing survey staff to build an excellent survey practice. You will be meeting with clients, responding to requests for proposal, scheduling work, and working with the leaders on our team for determining project pursuits.
Requirements include:
1. Licensed Professional Land Surveyor in Washington State
2. Proficiency in Civil3D
3. Knowledge of land survey software and equipment
4. Ability to grow a department with the full support of the company
