PT Residential Property Manager

IMPORTANT: You must live within 20 minutes of Seattle, Eastside or Renton, WA to qualify for this position. Please do not apply if you do not live in this area.

We are a family-owned, property management company looking for a motivated, full-time, property manager who can work independently. Our portfolio comprises mostly of single family homes, multi-plexes, and small apartment buildings in the greater Seattle area (including Snohomish and King counties).

Before we get into what we ARE looking for, let's talk about what we are NOT looking for. We don't mean to be negative here; just trying to be efficient. We are not looking for a someone who has been in corporate property management forever. We do things differently. We want someone trainable in our style of PM. We want to find someone who is passionate about real estate; who has a peripheral interest in it and has dabbled some.

We ARE looking for an individual who possesses the 4 C's:

4. Competency: Follow-through. Confident. Communicative. Computer/technically comfortable. Trust. We need someone we can trust to know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em; know when to walk away, and; know when to run!

The following are further required:

> Min. 3 years experience in SINGLE FAMILY residential property management

> Home office w/ desktop computer (not a laptop), Windows 7 or later, MS Office

> Smart phone

> Tablet optional but a plus

> Decent vehicle w/ driver's license and insurance

> Live in service area.

> Licensed RE Broker a plus

Responsibilities include:

> Communicate, communicate, communicate

> Prepare & execute leases & lease renewals

> Handle maintenance requests

> Perform property Inspections

> Generate reports

> Generate & approve work orders

> Show & Lease property

This is a full-time position (40 hrs./wk.). You will be working from home, so the ability to work independently with minimal supervision is a must. Multi-tasking is a priority. The successful candidate will be screened and tested for drugs. We are a drug-free company and an equal-opportunity employer. You will be asked to sign a 2-year non-compete agreement.
