We are a computer service company seeking a sharp, organized computer technician for shop and onsite service. Position is part time and may become full time for the right candidate once expertise has been proven. Ability to work Saturdays, and possible after-hours emergency service on short notice. Strong experience with networking, domains, and VPNs. Ability to work with servers and Apple products is a plus. Laptop repair skills required. Ability to work well with others and with customers is necessary. Quality note taking, documentation of work done and being comfortable with quoting time and estimates to company standards are also required.
Expert diagnosis of hardware/software errors. Must be able to think critically and troubleshoot to a complete resolution. Relevant work experience necessary. Applicant must have reliable vehicle, valid driver's license and maintain valid car insurance. Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply; a strong technical foundation and an aptitude for learning new technical skills on the fly will greatly assist in this position.
