This job requires frequent travel throughout North America, you must be willing and able to frequently travel to customers locations throughout North America.
This position includes technical troubleshooting over the phone and on-site service/installation of our equipment. This technician must actively work with customers and our sales department to schedule field service and customer support. This position is also responsible for parts inventory and reporting service updates to the factory.
Requirements
Travel to customer sites to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain all machine CNC equipment and train customers on software.
Utilizes machine tool manuals, technical documents, internal and vendor resources to research, troubleshoot and fix machine issues.
Ensures proper documentation is completed and submitted to office and customer in regard to status of machine issues, repairs, and installation.
Promotes and performs preventative maintenance on customer machine tool equipment and conducting after-sales technical support and training.
Possess an in-depth knowledge of company products.
Good customer relationship and time management skills.
Ability to effectively troubleshoot and resolve technical problems with mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems over the phone and in front of a customer.
Above average understanding of PC hardware and software: Installation of software/drivers, knowledge of various forms of file transfer.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a good knowledge of Windows office products.
Experience with CNC machines helpful.
Knowledge of Picture Framing industry and/or Composites industry (carbon fiber, aramid, fiberglass, etc) extremely helpful.
Willingness to travel and must have reliable transportation to/from work and airport.

Education and Experience
1-3 years or technical/vocational degree with at least 3 years’ experience, preferred but not required.
