JOB SUMMARYUnder general supervision of the Housing Account Manager, the incumbent performs technical and administrative duties in determining initial and continuing eligibility of applicants and recipients for Housing and Home Repair Programs; counsels applicants and Home Owners on what their rights and responsibilities are and on available support services. Advises participants of applicable Housing policies, procedures, regulations, and guidelines. MAJOR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIESThis list is intended only to illustrate the various types of work that may be performed. Assists applicants in completing applications for Home Owners, including needed documentation and verifications; creates and maintains applicant and resident files.

Maintains a list of contacts for available Tribal and non-Tribal support services that might be useful for applicants and Home Owners. Refers and assists applicants and Home Owners as needed, in obtaining those services.

Explains Housing policies and procedures to applicants and Home Owners.

Demonstrates to Home Owners how all heating, plumbing and electrical fixtures and appliances in rental units work. Explains their cleaning and maintenance needs for health and safety considerations, including mold prevention.

Conducts individual and group meetings to facilitate various home repair projects, walkthroughs to determine needs and safety issues.

Educates and demonstrates proper housekeeping for sanitary, health and safety reasons, as needed.

Prepares educational packets, sets up meetings, works directly with applicants and residents to prevent problems from occurring.

Assists Elder Owners with work order request and arranging for vendor repairs or services when needed.

May transport passengers in vehicles.

EDUCATION - EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING FOR POSITIONHigh school diploma or equivalent, three (3) years experience working with renters or in social services,andone (1) year experience working as an accounts clerk or similar position required. Prior Resident Services training and experience desired.   • Summary Serves as Assistant General Manager (AGM) in the ATO; Air Traffic Services; Western Service Area, Seattle District Office, responsible for planning and directing multiple activities and programs in a complex matrix organization in a specific Air Traffic District assigned to the highest facility-level within the Seattle District.
