Description We are seeking an Accounting Clerk in Los Angeles, California. This role involves working in the Accounting industry, where you will be responsible for handling a variety of tasks related to customer applications and records. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Process and sort premium receipts in a timely and accurate manner. Accurately perform data entry duties for Divisions I and II and CEA. Maintain and organize the Accounting file systems through filing and scanning. Abide by Federal and State laws and regulations in all tasks. Handle sensitive customer information, cash, checks, and banking information with utmost responsibility. Use skills in Data Entry, Microsoft Excel, Accounts Receivable (AR), and Billing to perform tasks and resolve customer inquiries. Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary. Requirements Possess at least 1 year of experience in a similar role Proficiency in data entry operations Competency in using Microsoft Excel Knowledge and experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) Experience in billing processes Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask effectively Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) is a plus Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is preferred.
