DescriptionNorth America Stores Marketing is on a mission to make Amazon’s stores the most-loved shopping destination. We aspire to meet customers where they are with a steady drumbeat of inspiring, relevant, and automated content that builds upon recent shopping missions while also introducing customers to new and timely ideas. As a part of the NASM family, the seasonal events team is focused on maximizing the customer experience as it relates to events, specifically not HVE events such as Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Back to School, and beyond. In 2024 we are rapidly expanding customer facing events by increasingly relying on automation through our partnership with DiscoTec by guiding the creation and piloting the usage of new tools build specifically to enable marketers to efficiently scale. To help us achieve our goal, we are looking for a Sr Product Marketing Manager to pioneer and scale high impact full funnel, cross platform marketing programs focused in the event space.Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate is a strategic marketer that is customer obsessed. They are relentless using customer anecdotes and behavioral data to shape their strategies and align stakeholders with different business objectives under a common vision. They evaluate communications through the lens of their customer and have a hunger for building personalized marketing communications at scale. They have good instincts prioritizing where to invest and where to lean into automated evergreen programs to achieve their objectives. They strive for operational excellence in everything they do and are always scrutinizing current processes to find new ways to serve unique customers more efficiently. They can work extremely effectively in a matrix organization, develop win-win partnerships with other teams and write powerful documents that align key stakeholders to their vision.Key job responsibilitiesThis role will develop the growth plan to scale our events beyond our core offering. More specifically they will:

Identify channel opportunities outside our integrated marketing that over index in reaching specific customer cohorts

Define a test, learn and scale approach to grow event shopping penetration for selected segments and work with appropriate channel partners to implement

Partner with the Associates team to make influencers and publishers a best in class channel for event discoverability

Drive creative excellence in all cross-channel campaign executions

Invent net new targeting capabilities that drive HVAs and expand event reach

Create integrated cross-benefit experiences around relevant cultural events in partnership with Prime marketing

Document and manage feedback on automation to ensure our progress towards our goals are both measurable and significant

You will be successful in this role if you have: Experience and deep understanding of Amazon site merchandising tools such as Content Symphony, and Babel Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion Proven experience developing and maintaining strong cross-functional relationships Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements Experience managing and measuring marketing performance in various channelsA day in the lifeYou start your morning reviewing the weekly performance metrics for live events with the appropriate channel partners to deep dive into any unique trends. You then review creative and UX wireframes for an upcoming cross-channel campaign for a net new to Amazon event experience. You attend a campaign planning meeting to learn about upcoming opportunity to contribute to key Prime goals, provide feedback as to their relevance to your content calendar and targeting and message priorities to reflect these conversations. After that you meet with various technical and marketing partners to plan experiments for the upcoming quarter. 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs

Experience leading go-to-market for consumer software or hardware product launches

Preferred Qualifications

Experience using any of SQL or other analytical tools for conducting data analysis

Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting

The base pay for this position ranges from $114,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212,600/year in our highest geographic market.
